San Carlos: Rules and regulation

Welcome to Sea Side Reservations in San Carlos!

The following are some important things to consider in order to avoid any issues during or after your stay . And to ensure that you enjoy your time in San Carlos to the fullest.

Check in time 4 PM, Check out time 11 AM (extra hour 15 US Dlls.) If you don’t notify our office one day before, or before 11AM the day of check out, we will charge your credit card, or deposit. (Subject to availability).

  1. The home or condominium that you are renting belongs to a home owner who has decided to share it with you and other guests by renting it through Sea Side. We encourage you to feel at home, and to care for the property as though it were your home. Please be careful not to cause any damages to the unit, and not to take any items from it with you at check out. Any damages or missing items can be charged to your credit card without previous notice.
  2. Please do not re-arrange furniture , pictures, or any other decorative items, the owner of your rental wants to keep his home/condo as it is.
  3. The property you are renting has an occupancy limit, which is provided to you when making your reservation. Please avoid going over this occupancy limit, otherwise we will be forced to enforce it. Doing so, might result in eviction of any extra occupants
  4. The home/condo that you are renting belongs to an area or complex managed by a Home Owners Association, and it has 24/7 security. Being part of a Home Owners Association means that there are rules and regulations issued by such association, and which home owners and renters alike must oblige by. If your rental is a condominium, you most likely will be provided with a separate set of rules and regulations for that complex .You are required to read and sign said rules and regulations. It is important to remember that you have neighbors (renters and homeowners), who are also on holiday, and who, sometimes, have a different idea of fun. Please be considerate, avoid any rowdiness. Extreme rowdiness might result in eviction.
  5. In case , complete disregard for these rules and regulations results in eviction, no monies paid to Sea Side will be refundable. And no credit will be granted for remaining nights of the reservation.
  6. Please hand back the keys to your rental in this office. If the office is closed, drop them in our mail box, located outside the office. Otherwise you will be charge for the keys.
  7. If you have any problems, questions or suggestions at any time during or after your stay, don?t hesitate to call us. There is an emergency phone number posted on our main door , in case our office is close and you need assistance.
  8. Our office is open everyday, 9 to 5. Please return the keys to our office before noon, at the day of check out.
  9. PLEASE BE AWARE, THAT LONG TERM RENTALS (30 DAYS OR MORE), UTILITIES ARE CHARGED TO TENANTS. THIS IS ELECTRICITY, WATER AND PROPANE. THIS WILL ALSO BE CHARGED ON BOOKINGS CLOSE TO A MONTH THAT PAY A MONTHLY FEE.

NOTE: Seaside Reservations cannot be responsible for lack of electricity due to power outages having anything to do with storms, the electrical company (CFE) or by any other means out side of our control. Nor can we be held responsible for water shortages, which occur due to the lack of water in the town of San Carlos.

Thank you, for choosing to rent your beach home through Sea Side Reservations. We hope you enjoy your stay in sunny San Carlos, Mexico. The following information enclosed is provided to help you prepare for your vacation:

DELIBERATE DAMAGES WILL BE CHARGED AGAINST YOUR CREDIT CARD OR CASH DEPOSIT ON FILE WITH SEASIDE RESERVATIONS WITHIN 10 DAYS OF YOUR DEPARTURE. Deductions will be made for missing kitchen, linen, and decoration items, as well as for property damage. Deductions will also be made for lights and A/C-heat units left on and for windows and doors left open or unlocked.

REMEMBER TO BUY MEXICAN INSURANCE, INFORMATION AT https://www.seasidemexico.com/sancarlos/insurance/. WE OFFER INSURANCE FOR CAR, BOAT, TRAILER, ATV’S, ETC… DON’T TAKE THE RISK!

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIME Check in is 4:00 pm on your arrival date. Check out is from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on your departure date. Fees for late check out are $15.00 per hour with prior authorization. If you plan to arrive late please let us know so we can accommodate your needs (Late check in fee may be applied, $15.00 USD, after business hours). To get to our office please drive through San Carlos until you come to the turning circle at the first marina, and the Catholic church, turn left go down one block and our office is the bright orange building next to the church. OCCUPANCY Each rental that we manage is designed to sleep a specific number of people. This number is noted on your paid confirmation notice. You will lose your deposit and be subject to eviction without return of your rental payment if more people are found in your rental.

INITIAL PAYMENT A fifty percent down payment is required for the reservation. If your reservation is within ten (10) business days of your arrival date, payment is required in full. Only Credit Card and Cash will be accepted. We accept Visa & Master Card.

FINAL PAYMENT The balance of your payment is due upon arrival. Credit Card payments are accepted at the front desk.

CANCELLATIONS Reservations cancelled 10 days or more before of check in date will result in a $100.00 cancellation fee, Cancellations made 10 or less days before your check in date will result in the loss of all monies paid. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURES AND FOR HOLIDAY DATES.

FOR LONG TERM RENTALS, IF CANCELLATION IS MADE WITH MORE THAN 3 (THREE) MONTHS BEFORE THE CHECK IN DATE, REFUND WILL BE HALF OF THE AMOUNT DEPOSITED TO SEASIDE RESERVATIONS. IF CANCELLATION IS MADE WITH LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OF CHECK IN DATE, WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF ALL MONIES PAID.

In case the unit is left extremely dirty, cleaning will be charged to your credit card according with our fees depending on the size of de house or condo.

THE RENTALS WE MANAGE ARE INDIVIDUALLY OWNED Each owner has furnished their rental in a fashion expected to meet the requirements of rental guests. If you stay in a rental that did not meet your requirements, please let us know. Likewise, if you enjoyed your stay and would like to request the same rental in the future, please let us know, and we will forward this information to the owner.
