We got a hold of Ernesto and he was able to get a hold of the maintance guy (Roberto) who had all the keys. Ernesto waited with us until he knew we were in the place and the new key worked. Please let Ernesto know that we really appreciated his help and it made our stay even better knowing there was someone willing to help us the way Ernesto did. |

| Manny N | We have been to Puerto Penasco many times. This was the worst experience we have ever had. The condo and Encantame Towers were exceptional. However, outside was smoke and flies. It was almost impossible to enjoy the pool and lounge outdoors. Evidently the dump was being burned which caused the smoke and flies to travel to the towers and throughout the town. I realize that you may not have control over this atmosphere. However, perhaps some pressure can be put on the Mayor or others responsible. Thanks. |

I was told I could not get my 200 dollar deposit until 9am. There were at least 6 other guests that came in after me bit before 9am and were told the same thing. None of us had been told at check in that we could not get our cash deposit returned to us until 9am I feel you need to do 1 of 2 things for your guests convenience you need to move that refund time up to 8am as I think most people would like or at the very least let people know when they check in, that when they leave a cash deposit they can't get in at check out until after 9am Thank you for your time. |

| Melinda A | We were disappointed the pool was not heated for the first few days of our trip. Individuals at the pool should not be allowed to play their own music. It becomes to loud when the bar and 2-3+ groups have music on. Also, security needs to ask people throwing balls in the pool to not be tossing them across the whole pool as multiple people were almost hit multiple times. |

| John L | During our stay, we noticed the guard rails on the upper floor units. We're being replaced. That's a good thing. The pool bar was being resurfaced. It was in need of some attention. I hope the adult pool will see the same attention soon, it has broken tiles and needs an upgrade. The new check-in system at the front desk needs to be integrated with security so they're in real time tied together. we absolutely love the Sonoran city resort, we have been coming here for 14 years every year sometimes twice a year. There's no other resort we want to stay at. We love the fact that it's smaller than the very large resorts. It has a much more comfortable feeling to it. Our opinion is that it's the best resort on all of sandy beach. We will come back to the Sonoran see resort time and time again without question. | |

Swim up bar staff is amazing!! The biggest disappointment of the trip started as soon as I tried to check in. The front desk clerk Cesar, was not friendly, seemed annoyed. Cesar would not let my family and I check in early even though, the condo owner gave permission and noted my account. I advised Cesar and he informed me that the owners need to understand the rules and guests are not permitted to check in early and that the room still needed to be "refreshed". I informed Cesar that the owner, Teresa, said the room was vacant and cleaned on Thursday. I had to call Teresa and explain the situation to her. Teresa called the manager, Daniel to figure out the situation. Teresa called me back and informed me that the keys were ready for pick up. Overall, this incident doesn't affect the resort its self and will continue to book at the Sonoran Sun! |

| Jonathan M | The bedding in the bedroom was dirty. The pillow cases smelled like sweat and had hairs on it. Our 2 and 4 year old kids slept on the pull out bed so we used the extra linens in the closet. There were plenty of pillows but no pillow cases for them. The pillows all had yellow stains on them. We had to use our towels to cover the pillows. The blankets provided in the closet smelled like vomit. I was very upset to have to deal with this at 9pm. I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the kitchen didn't work. I called on my cellphone and the front desk told me that was the only linen available. I had to do laundry and wash the linen that night in order to use it. | |
