The development of the tourist industry can be seen everywhere. Even so, the town and it&#8217;s residents still retain a lot of the original qualities and attitudes of a town built around the fishing industry.<\/p>\n<p>For an 87 year old, the town is livelier than ever. The Malecon has always been the place for the people of Puerto Pe\u00f1asco to come together. This Saturday, July 19th, local artists throw a kind of birthday party with &#8216;Por Ti Puerto Pe\u00f1asco&#8217;.
