Whenever I\u2019m in Puerto Pe\u00f1asco<\/a> I always make it a Rocky Point to visit what I consider to be the 10 best places to eat. This list is in no particular order, as in from best to worst or any rating of any kind. These are just my favorite places to go and the first names that come to mind when the question begins: \u201cWhere\u2019s a good place for\u2026\u201d Each one of my local faves offers something different that keeps bringing me back. Maybe it\u2019s the eclectic d\u00e9cor for one or the scrumptious shrimp enchiladas for another. Sometimes I return over and over to a restaurant where the service isn\u2019t so great, but who cares when the delightful delicacies that can only be found at this little hole-in-the-wall arrive at my table.<\/p>\n

Mary\u2019s Seafood<\/strong> – On the boardwalk\/Malecon
\nI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s the food I like best or the awesome ocean view from upstairs. Relax on the covered patio while feasting on the succulently seasoned garlic shrimp and fish. Offering some of the best scallop tacos around, Mary\u2019s Seafood combines the best of everything, with great views, great food and great service.<\/p>\n

Latitude 31 Restaurant & Sports Bar<\/strong> – Blvd. Benito Juarez S\/N.
\nYou can\u2019t be homesick for the USA already can you? If so, set your coordinates for Latitude 31. L31 is the closest thing you\u2019ll find to an American sports bar, offering pizza, wings, and some of the best burgers you\u2019ll ever find outside of the US. Like all good sports bar\u2019s, the game is playing on the TV and the friendly and efficient staff are more than happy to change the channel to your favorite team. This is a great place to get your feet wet, so to speak, as L31 also offers traditional, regional dishes as well as the menu items you are used to back home. The free wifi is a huge plus also. Have some chips with guacamole, and get caught up on all of your email.<\/p>\n

Don Julio Bar & Grill<\/strong> – Blvd. Freemont across from Plaza Freement.
\nStep through the door and enter the epitome of Mexican restaurant d\u00e9cor, with garish colors and a humble hacienda interior. A cursory look may give you a typical tourist trap impression, but Don Julio\u2019s is anything but typical, with steaming fabulous fajitas and some exotic specialties as well. Try the \u201cPescado Diablo\u201d or my fave, the fish in white wine and capers. The large dining area is more than accommodating, and a great place to sit and enjoy one of Don Julio\u2019s famous margaritas.<\/p>\n

La Cocina de Ramon<\/strong> – Gonzalez Bocanegra No. 261, Col. Oriente
\nAlthough Se\u00f1or Ramon has two restaurants in Rocky Point (the newly opened El Restaurant de Ramon on Sandy Beach) I\u2019m still a traditionalist, preferring the original location. Iron Chef Ramon prepares dishes that satisfy every whim. The spicy shrimp adobo is bursting with flavor, emphasizing the word <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
