The year 1920 saw the start of 10 years of conflict stemming from a desire for a more equiltable society. Every year on the third Monday in November, Mexicans commemorate the start of the Mexican Revolution. All across the country in towns big and small, there are parades. School children make up most of the participants. Dressed as figures from the Revoution, they also compete to present the best drum and bugle corps and flag details.
