ATV, Quad & "Extreme" Golf Cart Rentals
Get ready to ride in the Desert! Puerto Penasco is an ATV, Quad, and
Dune Buggie Paradise. You can also rent the new Extreme Golf Carts and
some Dune Buggies. Explore the rolling dunes and hills over
the Sonoran Desert in your own private machine, or find a local
rental, and have some fun on new ride for a while. Take a casual drive
in your golf cart from your condo to town and have breakfast. ATV,
Quad, & Golf Cart rental distributors are scattered throughout Rocky Point,
and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction upon arrival to your Sea

Banana Boat Rides
Banana Boat Rides are a great way for the whole family to enjoy a day of
fun in the sun, and spend very little money doing so. Banana Boat rides
usually cost $5 per person, and how fast you go and how long you
ride are yours to negotiate. Banana Boat rides are fun for all ages, so

Wedding. With the beautiful ocean as your backdrop, try to image the

Have you always wanted to visit Bird Island? Do you want to swim and
kayak with the local Sea Lion colony and experience the thrill of a

CEDO, the Interculteral Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans is a
great place to take the kids and explore the desert and sea in a way you never
have before. You can learn about giant whales, listen to natural history talks,
or even join in a field adventure. CEDO has been the premier
environmental organization in Rocky Point for over 20 years. CEDO is
a bi-national non-profit institute that has been working for the benefit of
the Sea of Cortez, the coastal Sonoran Desert, and the people of the region. To

Cet Mar Aquarium
Have you been to the Aquarium in Rocky Point yet? If you haven’t, we
encourage you to stop in on your next visit. The aquarium is
always an affordable, fun adventure for the whole family. You can
see many species of Fish, Eels, Stingrays, Sea Horses, Puffer Fish, a Dog
Fish, a Lobster, and more! You are also allowed to feed the Sea
Turtles and Sea Lions. Food can be purchased at the enterance. Come and visit
the Aquarium everyone. You will be glad you did! The Aquarium is located at the
enterance to Las Conchas.
Dancing
Dancing! “That’s a great idea!” Where can we go dancing, “you ask”? How about
Manny’s Beach Club, Pink Cadillac, Baja Cantina, The Reef Club, Puesta Del Sol
at the Playa Bonita, Margarita Villa, Sammy's Club, and Bumaya (with the

Golf Course at the Mayan Peninsula
That’s right Ladies and Gentleman. The demand has been met! The addition of

Horseback Riding
If you feel like taking a relaxing horseback ride, then head over to the
Sandy Beach area. Trot along the beach on horseback, and take in a truly
beautiful view of the ocean. Riding is available for all levels, and a variety
of prices. Horseback rides are fun and exciting, especially for the “little
ones”. Enjoy your ride! The horseback rentals are usually between Las Gaviotas
Condos and the Playa Bonita Hotel.
Jet Skis & Wave Runners
Take a thrilling journey on the Sea of Cortez solo, or with your favorite
traveling companion. Riding the waves is one of the most popular activities in
Rocky Point. Jet Skis & Wave Runners are a common site, so feel free to

Oyster Farms
Now I know you have probably seen oysters on the menu's at
most of the local restaurants in Rocky Point, but have you been to
the Oyster Farms just outside of Las Conchas? No, not yet?! Well, if
you desire the freshest oysters available, then the choice is simple. Take a
short drive past the Las Conchas turn off (as if you're driving to the
Mayan Palace) and look for the wooden sign on the right side of the road that
says "Ostionera Oysters 2 Km". All you need to bring is your favorite hot
sauce to make the flavor perfect. They sell beer onsite, so you are all set.
Take a tasty detour to the Oyster Farms during your next stay. You will be very

Parasailing
There is nothing quite like a peaceful ride over the Sea of Cortez with
nothing but the warm Mexico breeze as your companion. Experience a world
away, 600 feet in the air, with an amazing panoramic view of the Sonoran Desert
and the Rocky Point shoreline. You will spend the next 10 minutes high above the
ocean, watching time stand still, as you gaze in awe at the beautiful splendor

Pinacate Mountain Range Tours
Have you ever been to the Pinacate Mountain Range, which is located less than
an hour from Rocky Point? NO! Well, it’s time you did. Come and see the Pinacate
Volcanic Mountain Range and learn about the wonderful geologic processes
that created this amazing wonder! It's moon like craters make it very unique.
It's over a mile wide with black pumice soil, cinder cones and sleeping
volcanos. Fact: In 1970, the Apollo 14 Astronauts trained for their first
mission to the moon at the Pinacate Range, and due to the similar terrain, they

Sailing
I bet you didn't know that Rocky Point is the ideal place to go Sailing, did
you? You always have the ocean breese as your companion, guiding you gently over
the Sea of Cortez, taking you away from the stressful of it all. You can sail
your way to Cholla Bay, or maybe steer your way toward Bird Island and take in
the sights. Several times a year, Rocky Point is host to the several
Ragatta Sailboat races, and year round to any Sailing enthusiast who wishes

Scuba Diving
Explore the amazing Sea of Cortez with an unforgetable underwater
adventure. Try some local diving in Peñasco, or take a trip to Bird Island

Shopping
One question we seem to get often is, “Where is the best place to
go shopping?” Well, that’s a tricky question. Rocky Point has a variety of
Shops, Specialty Stores, and Beach Vendors that sell just about everything you
could imagine. You will be able to find Jewelry, Clothing, Ceramics,
Furniture, Sun glasses, and so much more, I promise! People
always ask about a place called “Saks Fifth Avenue” and “Rodeo Drive”, which has
recently taken on a new look. Rodeo Drive, which is part of the
original Cholla Bay Rd, is now paved in front of all the shops, and they
have recently added new lights. Another great place to do a little shopping
is at the Malecon (Fish & Shrimp Market), which offers a great ocean
view too! Don't forget the Beach Vendors. They bring all the items to you. Sit
back and shop at your leasure. Remember to bring some cash. Larger stores
may accept Visa or Master Card, but small store will only accept cash. Now,

Snorkeling Adventures
Let's go exploring together "Under the Sea"? It is time for
another fun filled Snorkeling Adventure in Puerto Peñasco! Grab the entire
family because everybody is going to want to see what you're about

Sunset Cruises
Are you ready for an exciting Sunset Cruise on a local charter in Rocky

Tidepool Explorations
Alright, this one is for the kids! Grab your favorite bucket and let's
explore the "Secrets of the Tidepools" during your next visit to
the Rocky Point. We have several fun areas by the beach that
have great tidepools to explore when the tide is low, so we encourage you
to take the entire family and begin your exploration right away. You will
discover a grand and unique world of Brittle Stars, Crabs, Chitons,
Species of Fish, and all of their invertabrate companions! It is a
great hands-on experience that you should be shared with the ones you love.

UltraLight Adventures
You cannot leave Rocky Point without trying this unique and exciting
experience! "Think hang gliding meets the Wright Brothers". This incredible ride
enables you to fly with an experienced pilot over many areas in Puerto
Peñasco. Your pilots, Alfredo and Jorge, have over 20 years experience combined.
They are ready to take you on the smoothest ride of your life, and show you a
gorgeous view of Rocky Point that very few people get to see. Flights can
be taken at sunset, and trust me, it's a ride you won't soon forget. Feel free
to bring a camera or video camera. The Ultralights can be found on the dirt road
to the Reef Club & Pinao Bar on Sandy Beach. Prices begin at $40 for 15
