Services at airports in Guaymas is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Fees to be expected:

• Aircraft entering Mexico —$45.00 each flight entering Mexico .

An annual permit may be purchased for US $750.00.

• Airspace tax based on aircraft wingspan is added onto fuel

• Landing fee based on aircraft weight—$8.00 estimated for single-

engine aircraft; $12.00 estimated for multiengine aircraft.

• Immigration fee—$15.00 per person. Multiple entry fees may

be purchased and remain valid for 180 days.

• Overnight Parking fee is paid at time of departure.

Transportation from the Airport to San Carlos

The taxi union at the airport has set their fares to a standard rate of $30.00 (300 pesos to be exact) from the airport to the hotels in town. 

Car rentals at the Guaymas airport for about 700 pesos a day ($70.00).  Budget Car Rental and Hertz have local offices.

You can catch the San Carlos bus for .70 cents. It shows up at the airport every hour and will take you into Guaymas where you get off at Ley Shopping Center and can catch a bus back to San Carlos for 9 pesos (.90 cents)--not recommended if you have more luggage than you can carry on your own!
