Sonoran Sky
The newest of the Sonoran Resorts is the Sonoran Sky. When you drive up through the arches you will be amazed at the architecture. The design is old world Mexican style with massive sculptures, arches and colors that will amaze the eye. You can park your vehicle or drive up the covered entrance. As you proceed into the front doors you will be amazed at the lobby decor. The furniture is exquisite and inviting while the artwork on the walls is something you just have to stop and admire. On the first floor in addition to the exquisite lobby you will find a state of the art fitness center and a mini-mart stocked with just about anything you need to make your stay complete. As you exit the lobby onto the beach front area you will be able to take advantage of four swimming pools, a jucuzzi, a water slide, and a swim up bar. You can enjoy yourself under a palapa on the beach and enjoy margaritas and wonderful Mexican delights at the beach bar. By the way...the margaritas are to die for!! You can continue your walk onto Sandy Beach and collect seashells, check out the tide pools or continue and play tag with the tide. Sandy Beach is the perfect place to walk along the beach or jog if you are so inclined. The Beach is beautiful, clean and uncluttered. The water of the Sea of Cortez is crystal clear, blue and ever so warm and inviting. The air is clean, fresh and of course has that delightful saltiness. Outdoors activities include para sailing, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling and wonderful dinner cruises. The Sonoran Sky Resort is one tower with 136 units ranging from one to four bedrooms. The units are spacious, delightfully decorated and come with fully equipped kitchens and private laundry rooms. There are ceiling fans throughout, wall mounted plasma TV, hi-speed wireless internet and stainless steel appliances in the kitchens. The counter tops are granite and the appliances are very modern and elegant. The bedrooms are master suits with their own private baths and terraces. The inside doors are solid wood and massive as the entrance door is intricately carved and arched. The terrace doors are sliding glass and expand the entire terrace, including the main master bedroom, living, dinning and kitchen areas. The terrace doors can all be opened to let the beauty of Rocky Point inside to engulf your surroundings and senses. Each terrace has breathtaking views of Sandy Beach, the Sea of Cortez and the magnificent sunsets. Rocky Point sunsets are enticing and mesmerizing. You can lounge on your terrace and gaze at the sunset and just not want to leave. It is invigorating and hypnotizing and just beautiful. Each terrace, in addition to its magnificent views, also has a Jacuzzi, wet bar, BBQ, and electrical outlets. The terrace wraps around on the end units providing additional access from the side bedrooms. In the main master bedroom you can wake up in the morning with a warm salty breeze and the morning sun...relax and listen as the tide goes in and out. This is truly a wonderful experience. It is well designed and built and the attention to detail is amazing. Rocky Point offers so much as a vacation, get-away spot. Take a short drive to the Old Pier area and enjoy the wonderful maze of shops along the Malecon where local artisans sell their crafts, restaurants eager to feed you and the nightlife energy that is so inviting. Be sure to try The Shark Bite have a drink, enjoy the sunset or hit the dance floor. Whatever moves you, Rocky Point has it and this resort is magnificent.
