This is a lovely 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit within the Las Gaviotas Resort. Las Gaviotas is located on the very popular Sandy Beach. The Las Gaviotas Resort is very different from the other resorts because it only has 43 units which means there are no obstructed ocean views and the units are constructed on only four levels which make beach access much closer and easier to reach. The courtyard area is very lovely and inviting with its tropical pool and lounge area. The living room in 405 has been furnished with two plush tan colored sofas of which one folds out into a comfortable bed for two additional guests. The room has 2 sliding glass doors that open to the ocean view patio. On the wall behind the couch there is a fishermen net adorned with shells and starfish. There is a glass top coffee table, end tables, and a lovely entertainment unit with a TV and DVD player. The dining room has a round wood table with seating for our people. The chairs are a matching light wood with high backs and comfortable seat cushions. The whole room is illuminated with a panoramic view of the ocean. Behind the dining room table there is a purified water cooler so you always have cold clean water to drink. The Kitchen has been finished in Mexican tile and has a built in island bar lined with high back bar stools. The kitchen has white on white appliances which include a built in microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and stove. The cupboards, drawers and pantry have been lined with everything needed to cook and entertain. The master bedroom ahs a queen size bed with a light colored plaid quilt. The room has bedside tables, and a lovely mirrored dresser. There is also a small TV opposite the bed provided inside a built in entertainment center. The room also enjoys a wonderful window with an unobstructed view of the Sea of Cortez. The master bathroom has two mirrored closet doors with a stand up shower and single sink vanity with plenty of counter space and lighting. The 2nd bedroom also has a queen size bed with a light blue patch work quilt bedding set. The walls have been adorned with wonderful pictures of beach scenes and there is a matching dresser opposite the bed. The 2nd bathroom has a tub, shower and lighted single sink n=vanity area. The patio has been furnished with rustic high back bar chairs and a dining area so that you may enjoy your dinner with the sunset over the ocean. The courtyard has BBQ’s as well as a common area to enjoy with your guests. The unit comes with ceiling fans throughout so that you are always comfortable on those hotter Rocky Point days. This is a front row unit which means you are literally just a few steps away from frolicking in the sand. This is a perfect location for enjoying the early morning and early evening tide pools. This is a wonderful unit and you will not be disappointed with your stay in unit 405 of Las Gaviotas.
