Two luxury ocean-front 2-bedroom condos located on the Sea of Cortez, in Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) 

The Sonoran Sky Resort is the newest resort in the exclusive Sandy Beach resort area of Puerto Penasco, Mexico.  It has a beautiful on-site ocean-front restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a full-service bar.  Frequently on Fri and Sat nights, there is live entertainment as well as an outdoor poolside movie theater.  There are 4 pools (infinity pool, aqua bar pool, slide pool, children's pool) and 3 jacuzzis (2 adult, 1 family).  Also, there is a playground and BBQ grills on the 3rd floor rooftop.  This resort is relatively small compared to the other Sandy Beach resorts, so it does not get too crowded.  The resort is a gated community with 24-hour security.     

These 2-bedroom, 2-bath luxury condos offer a fabulous view!  During shrimp season (Sept-Mar), you can watch the shrimp boats from your balcony right in front of the resort.  You are high enough up (14th floor) to see over Old Port all the way down past Las Conchas.  You can even see Bird Island!  From the opposite direction, as the sun is setting, you can see the outline of San Felipe.  You get a very good view of the sunset dinner cruise boats and the pirate boat coming in and out of the harbor every evening.  As the pirate boat goes back into the harbor every evening, it sets off a few fireworks.  Last time we were down there, we saw several dolphins from our balcony.  We even saw an osprey with a fish in its talons flying right at eye level in front of our balcony...it was pretty amazing!  Be sure to bring your binoculars.  From the guest bedroom or right out the front door, you can see the Las Palomas golf course and over to Cholla Bay.

These condos each sleep 6 and are furnished and equipped almost exactly the same.  So if you want to come down with another family or group and be right next door to each other, this is an ideal set up.   

These units have a very comfortable king pillowtop bed in each of the 2 bedrooms and a leather sleeper sectional sofa with 2 recliners in the living room.  There is a wall-mounted flat-screen TV in the living room and both bedrooms (with DVD/VCR combo player in the living room and DVD player in both bedrooms).  Each TV receives American cable TV with HBO and there is free wireless internet in the condos.  Each condo also has a CD player with an Ipod dock.  We even provide CD's, movies, and games but feel free to bring your own.  All bedrooms and the living room have ceiling fans.  The master bath has a jacuzzi tub and there is a wet bar out on the extra large patio.  These units have central air and heat, full size washer and dryer, full size refrigerator, separate wine or beverage refrigerator, dishwasher, and granite counter tops.  All kitchen appliances are stainless steel.  We offer a fully equipped kitchen fit for a chef.  Linens and towels are provided.

Renters must be at least 25 years of age.  No pets are allowed and these are non-smoking condos.
