The fisherman will even wait while you dine inside an old rustic farm like establishment that is located in Colimilla. Colimilla is on the other side of the lagoon in Barra de Navidad. The cost to go to this restaurant and have the fisherman wait for you while you eat is 200 pesos and that price accommodates up to 10 people. Some people like to go to Playa de los Cocos while they are here because the waves are bigger than in Barra de Navidad. If you head a little bit past Coco's you will stumble on Playa Viejo which is a great place to swim but be sure to tell the fisherman to wait for you otherwise you will have to swim back. If you wish to go to both of these beaches by fisherman the cost will be around 610 pesos and that includes round trip transportation for up to 10 people. Another thing people quite enjoy while visiting here is the wonderful snorkeling excursions available at Tenacatia. If you wish to do this snorkeling event the charge is 2600 pesos for up to 10 people. You can also go snorkeling in Isla de Navidad and that will run 160 pesos per person, or snorkeling is also very good in Tamarindo Bay which will cost 1600 pesos for a party of 10 people. If fishing is your desire then you can do so for 2600 pesos and that includes transportation and fishing for up to 10 people and the fishing trip will last for 7 hours. Be sure to ask about discounts because the fisherman are more than willing to negotiate their prices to accommodate you. If you would like to charter a boat of your own you can do so at Mary Chuy Fishing Charters. At Mary's they provide charters that can last up to 6 hours and range anywhere from 3000-6500 pesos just depends on how many people you have in your group. Mary's is open every day between the hours of 7am-7pm.
